The Dayton International Airport is formally known as James M. Cox International Airport.

Suspended at the entrance to the airport terminal is a Wright Flyer, emblematic of Dayton being the home of the Wright Brothers. A sculpture and mural are mounted on a high vertical wall. The mural says "Two brothers from Dayton taught the world to fly."

The airport is served by six airlines - American Airlines, Delta, United, US Airways, Frontier Airlines and Air Tran.
