The Trapper's Trail connected major trading points, mainly Forts, that ran the length of the American Rockies mountain range. This 425 mile-long trail was active from 1820 to 1846. This trail was also used by the military and later by settlers including the Mormons who were looking for a home to avoid persecution.

Photos posted are clear enough to read the interesting history of this extensive trail.
