Birkenhead Lake offers 91 campsites, 46 of which are reservable. There is a sandy beach just a short walk from the camping area. There are pit toilets.
This campground is a little ways off the beaten track, but is still popular in the summer. Be prepared for 17km of gravel road. Well worth the trip - the scenery is spectacular!
