A nice quiet neighborhood park between Oakland Blvd. and Ederville Rd. in east Fort Worth draws walkers, dog owners, duck-feeders and fishermen to enjoy its peaceful confines.

Oakland Lake Park was established after the creation of Fosdic Lake (a flood-control lake) in the 1920s. The WPA built the pavilion around the late 1930s.

This has always been a nice, quiet, safe park for kids of all ages.
