Phrae and Uttaradit are two of the many provinces of northern Thailand. Lands of agriculture and light industry. A highway links the two provincial capitals, both of which share the name of their province. This highway was undergoing refurbishment in early 2012, when I visited, thus, no sign of the to be expected large blue sign stretching across the road indicating the position of the provincial border. Most likely, when the work is finished, there will be a border sign in place.
The road here is a little hilly, with lots of curves. No parking or border crossing facilities. I was on a bike when I crossed this border, and there were a few other cars and trucks passing me by so I could not stop to take a comprehensive set of photos.
Type Of Crossing: Province
Where is the border located?: Interstate
Welcome Center/Facilities: No
