This house built in 1890 was the home of Mr. Lester Shepard Parker. Mr. Parker was the owner of L.S. Parker Shoe Company that was located and operated inside the walls of the Missouri State Penitentiary. He was first gubernatorial appointed superintendent of state prison industries.
