This Time Capsule in the center of the Kingman city government complex was assembled by the schoolchildren at the Palo Christi School as a bicentennial project.

The capsule, created by children of the Palo Christi school in Kingman was placed July 4, 1976 to celebrate the American Bicentennial. It is scheduled to be opened at the Tricentennial in 2076.

The text on the plaque reads:
