Bicentennial Project

The capsule inside this monument placed by the children of Chloride School May, 1976 includes momentos of our culture as seen at the time. The contents have no immediate value, except as bits of history for our posterity.
Happy Tricentennial

Although no actual opening date is specified, the last line of the message implies that it is to be opened in 2076.
