Camp Attawandaron is located in the Carolinian Oak Savanna. It is one of the last true Oak Savannas in Southern Ontario. The camp is located along the Ausable Cut: an artificial channel that rerouted the river.
The camp sits on 190 acres next to the Pinery Provincial Park in an area of sand dunes close to Lake Huron.
There are 3 fully marked trails with maps for various levels of hiking abilities. Camp canoes are available for Scouts. Burr Lodge features a dining room, kitchen and washrooms with showers. The lodge will accommodate 100 campers.
7 Tenting areas will accomodate 40 tents each.
