This former railroad bridge can be found on the southeast side of Jefferson, TX, crossing Big Cypress Bayou. The railroad line was relocated and a new bridge was built adjacent to this one (you can see the abutments of the new bridge in the bayou behind the abandoned bridge). The KCS still has regular service to Jefferson on the former Louisiana & Arkansas line.
