This marker is just about 75 feet away from Tallinn's historic Town Hall... in the center of the Town Hall Square.
The stone marker is engraved around the perimeter "RAEKOJA PLATSIL ASUS VANA TALLINNA NULLPUNKT"
which Google translates as "Town Hall Square in Old Tallinn, ASUS DATUM". The poster of this Waymark could not determine the meaning of "ASUS" but presumably it is some type of geodetic or survey agency.
The center of the marker has a compass rose and another engraving which is now too faded...but part of one word is visible "cen...".
The poster of this Waymark took a guided walking tour of the city and this spot was the end of the tour. We were told that this was the geographic center of the city...and when standing on the stone, it was the only spot in which one could see, at ground level, all five of the city's highest spires.
