Dunder Rock is located in Morton, Ontario. A long time ago, the land was used a the areas largest Boyscout camp. When it was no longer being utilized by Scouts Canada, it was turned over to the municipality. They made it a walking trail and conservation area. It's a wonderful hike that I've personally made about 50 times and takes you to a breathtaking view of the Rideau Lakes system. Along the way however, you'll see two cabins. These well built cabins are what remains of the boyscout cabins used for camping. They area now used for rest stops along the way to the top of Dunder Rock. If you decide to check these out as well as the great view of Dunder Rock, go to Morton, Ontario and take Stanley Lash Lane to the parking area, where your adventure will begin. You must take the Blue trail to see these cabins. So be safe and have a great time on the trails.
Cheers
