Das Alzwehr Trostberg ist eine Wehranlage mit einer Restwasserturbine. Zudem werden mit dem hier abgeleiteten Kanal zwei Hauptkraftwerke (KW I / KW II) versorgt.

Erbaut wurde das Wehr in den Jahren 1908-1910. Eine Erneuerung erfolgte 1932 und 2007. Es besitzt 5 Wehrfelder, inkl. Fischpass, und Rauhgerinne-Beckenpass. Das Wehr besitzt zudem 8 Kanal-Einlaufschütze.

Das Restwasser-Kraftwerk hat eine Leistung von 0,6 MW was einer jährlichen Leistung von 3 GWh/a entspricht. Damit kann der Verbrauch von 1.000 Haushalten abgedeckt werden.

The Alzwehr Trostberg is a weir with a residual water turbine. The here derived water is supplied to two other power plants.
