This nautical flag pole has a yardarm and gaff. The top flag on the main mast is the Canadian red maple leaf flag. From the yardarm halyards fly the town of Sidney flag WMFAEF and the provincial flag for British Columbia.
The nautical flag pole was sponsored by Sidney and North Saanich War Memorial Committeee of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #37 and Unit #302 Army Navy Air Force Veterans Association, November 2004.
The street address for the town hall is 2440 Sidney Avenue, Sidney, BC V8L 1Y7. This is one block north of the main street, Beacon Ave, between Third and Fourth Streets.
