Drevená socha jezevce krášlí
vrcholové skalisko na hore Hrb. Na své místo byla instalována v roce 2012.
-
nore. Jezevec byl tím, kdo ho schoval pred pašeráky. Zvíre ranenému
pašerákovi ošetrovalo ránu a krmilo jej mlékem tak dlouho, než pašerák
zesílil a mohl se vrátit domu. Všude pak vyprável, jak mu paní hor poslala
na pomoc jezevce.
-
Jezevec je zpodobnen v životní velikosti.
Samotná socha je vyrezána z jednoho kusu smrkového dreva. Pri jejím vzniku se
uplatnila retezová pila a detaily byly dokonceny za pomoci rezbárských dlát.
Povrch sochy je ošetren hnedou lazurou a lodním lakem.
-
K soše je pridána drevená bedna
symbolizující krabici pašovaného tabáku. V této krabici se nachází vrcholová
kniha.
-
Vrchol hory Hrb, na kterém se
nachází drevená socha jezevce, je snadno dostupný po
cervené turistické znacce.

Wooden sculpture of badger decorates the rocky
peak of the mountain called Hrb. The carving was installed here in 2012.
-
The statue reminds us a
legend about a
contrabandist: He was a poor glassblower who needed to earn some money for
his family living. Therefore he decided to smuggle tobacco from Bavaria to
Bohemia. Unfortunately on the way back he met a patrol of border hunstmans.
All night long The smuggler fled over the mountain from border huntsmans. On
the run he was shoted. When he reached a rocky mountain summit he finally
dropped from exhaustion. Then he had a dream. In this dream Gabreta, fairy
godmother and ruler of these mountains, appeared to him and hid him from
pursuers.
When he woke up, he found out that he is in the badger den. A Badger saved him from persecutors! The animal had treated the wounded
smuggler and fed him with milk until he became stronger and was able to
return home. After that, the man had told everyvere about his own salvation.
He had told the story about fairy goodmother Gabreta who sent the badger to
help him.

The wooden badger is life-size statue. It is carved from one piece of spruce
wood. For creation of this sculpture chainsaw and chisels were used. The
statue is painted by brown stain and marine varnish.
