On the north side of Wild Horse Park, just south of the Veteran's Memorial is a small monument honoring the innocents of the 1995 bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. The marker is on the north side of the trail. 168 lives were lost in the terrorist attack, and many others injured. A beautiful memorial is located on the former site of the Murrah Building, and it has been visited by millions of people wanting to pay their respects.
