This is a most impressive sculpture, made entirely from a 1913 Linotype printing press. Throughout its transformation it was called the "Rebirth Project". The wapiti (elk) stands 7 feet tall. This amazing accomplishment was by artist: Carl Sean McMahon

Linotype Wapiti was part of the 2011 Castlegar Sculpture Walk and winner of the People's Choice Award and is now on permanent display.
