Although it is common to find trail registers throughout the Finger Lakes Trail system, here in Allegany State Park (ASP), you will only find trail registers at the lean-to locations (there are 3 in ASP).

The peculiar thing about this trail register (box) is that the door to the original box seems to have been chewed off by an animal, or ripped off for firewood. The box was replaced with a USPS type mailbox.
