One of the coolest "roller coasters" I've been on. Located in Todtnau, Germany, this 2.9 KM long ride is well worth the small admission fee. Start at the lift, hop on the lift chair, take the leisurely ride up the mountainside and enjoy the view. At top there is a restaurant, or you can simply get in line for the ride. Get on the car, seatbelt in, and a quick safety note from the attendant who may caution not to "fall asleep" (ie. pay attention to who's in front of you or behind you - they may have stopped!) and you're on your way. You have control of the brakes if you need, but the faster you go, the more thrilling.
