Spiriki is the name of this eagle sculpture located by the south end zone of UNT's Apogee Stadium (behind the words Mean Green). Public access at ground level is limited, so your best chance of taking a picture of the 5' eagle bust is from the stands.
UNT has two eagle sculptures/mascots on campus: one by the clock tower, and this eagle bust at Apogee Stadium.
According to wikipedia:
The bust is named "Spiriki", and was donated by members of the Geezles, the school's first social fraternity
The University of North Texas was founded in 1890, and a current student enrollment of approximately 36,000. The campus sits on 875 acres and has had six previous names before UNT. School colors are green and white, and the nickname is "Mean Green", which is written on the south end zone of Apogee Stadium.
