Very historic stadium, having been built in 1937 and has a current capacity of 26,500. It has played host to numerous High school championship games, the last being played here in 1971. It has played host to numerous concerts (The Beatles, Pearl Jam, Journey to name a few..) and also hosted the US Olympic Track & Field Trials for the 1992 Summer Olympics, as well as other numerous track and field events of different levels. It is considered home field to numerous New Orleans High school teams.
