São Tomé and Principe is the second smallest country in Africa and it was a colony of Portugal until 1975. Being a small country and not especially rich, it doesn't have many embassies around the world. Due to historical reasons its embassy in Portugal is one of the most important in the diplomatic network of this small country. It is located in a well known avenue in the modern center of Lisbon, taking the 4th floor of an office building.
