COWS Creamery produces icecream on specific days from May thru August, and visitors are allowed to observe the actual ice cream making process. (Tours outside of that timeframe are provided via video). During the tours, visitors are led by guides to a theater room where the history of COWS is provided, followed by a tour of the factory (or watching the video, in the off season). Visitors can also watch the creation of the t-shirts that the company sells, as well as COWS Creamery Extrs Old Cheddar and Avonlea Clothbound Cheddar cheeses. Following the tour, visitors receive a sample of the Super Premium Ice Cream.
