The Bleasdell Boulder is an enormous glacial erratic, left during the previous ice age. The rock's age is estimated to be approximately 2.3 billion years old!
This a relatively new Conservation Area, acquired by the Lower Trent Conservation Authority from the previous owners about 20 years ago. There are several nice hiking trails in this area.
