This theater is historic building on the west side of Evansville. It is located at the corner of Fulton and Columbia and is formerly known as the Columbia Theater during its day as a movie house. In 1974, the Civic Theater company moved into the building and still runs 4-6 plays a year in the building with each show having a run of 2-4 weeks. They have hosted original stage plays as well as adaptions of very well known classics.
