The plaque is a memorial for the 10/22/1940 when 50 jewish citizens of Neustadt have been deported to Gurs.
The memorial was established at the 10/22/2010 during the 'Week of Brotherhood'.
As always at places of the holocaust I was very sad to read about it. On the other hand, I am very pleased that the memory is kept alive.
