Akköprü ("white bridge") is a historical bridge in Yenimahalle district of Ankara, Turkey, crosses the Ankara River in front of Varlik neighbourhood. It is the oldest bridge in Ankara and still in good condition. The neighbourhood around the bridge was also named 'Akköprü'. The area is home to the great Atatürk Cultural Centre and Ankamall shopping centre, the biggest mall in Ankara.

The Ankara Metro, running since 1997, runs from Kizilay, the city center, to the Batikent suburb in the northwest. The line is 14.7 km long (6.5 km underground, 4.5 km surface, and 3.7 km elevated railway) and has 12 stations.
