Lake Norden is located just off SD Highway 28 and about 3 miles west of US Highway 281 in South Dakota.
It is fairly small with a surface area of about 750 acres but used quite often for recreational purposes.
Near the highway is a commercial drive-in which serves short orders and ice creams.
The lake itself has a city park nearby, and also a boatramp, public toilets, picnic tables, and a nice beach.
Fisherman use the lake to catch northern pike, perch, walleye, bullheads, and white bass.
