Wortman Stadium is home of the McMinnville High School Grizzlies football, soccer and track & field teams. The stadium is named after the Wortman family, pioneer settlers and prominent citizens in the history of McMinnville. The stadium was originally constructed in the 1930s, but a fire in 1973 destroyed the 2,500 seat grandstand.

The Grizzlies team colors are red & black.

As of 2011, the school has not won a state football championship but has advanced as far as the semi-final round in the state playoffs in 1946, 1964 and 1971.
