A zinc spire mounted on two zinc plinths atop a concrete base. The lower plinth is simulated stone. The upper plinth and spire contain symbols, epitaphs and the dedications. It appears that the spire was topped with a vase which has broken away at the stem. The headstone is about 5 feet high.

Additional Research:

Sarah Abigail LANGILLE was born 22 Oct 1847 and is the daughter of John Peter LANGILLE (b. 15 Jun 1811, d. Jan 1904) and Sarah Ann EISENHAUER (b. 10 Jan 1815, d. 5 Mar 1899). Siblings were John Ananius, Sarah Letia, John Azor and John Peter. She married John DOMNEY, born in New Canada, NS, son of John DOMNEY, b. 22 Jan 1810 and Elizabeth GRAVES. Marriage record indicated the marriage occurred 15 Jun 1875, and is recorded as the 66th marriage of the year on page 109 of the register. 1881 census, district E, sub-district 2, family 130 but recorded as “John DOMINO” and “Abigal DOMINO”. His occupation was farmer, age 31. Her age was 27. Sons listed are Stanage, age 2 yr and Angus age 1 yr.

The 1891 census lists the family as John DOMINO age 50, Lavinia (his second wife), Stanage (or Wannage) age 12, Angus age 11 and Elma age 3. Angus DOMINE and his family appear in the 1911 census age 30. Lavinia DOMINE was a widow and remarried William TATTERMAN in 1898.

An application for birth registration of Alma Janetta DOMINO, 2 Jan 1888 was made by her brother (step-brother) Angus DOMINO on 4 Aug 1948 indicating that her father John DOMINO was then deceased and her mother was Lavinia DOMINO, nee. CROUSE.

A late registration of birth filed by Harry Albert DOMINOE in 1975 indicates the spelling had changed again. Harry is the son of Angus Elam DOMINO and Florence RAMEY. A birth register for a son on 26 Oct 1908 indicates the father as Angus DOMINEY, thus another spelling in the records.
