The Trinity Lutheran Church was founded on May 7, 1873 when seventeen members withdrew their membership from the Zion Lutheran Church to organized the Trinity English Evangelical Lutheran Church. The present church building was constructed with the cornerstone being laid September 13, 1873. The first services held in the unfinished church were November 1, 1874 and the church was dedicated October 24, 1875.
The brick church has two topped white towers. The church features extensive stained glass. Over the years the church has been renovated but has retained its original character. The church is in very good condition and continues to serve its congregation.
