Located in Victoria park, this cenotaph commemorates Petrolia's war losses. World War I is displayed prominently on the front of the cenotaph with the title "Our Honoured Dead" with 88 men in total. On the bottom it says "To Our Honoured Dead and Those Who Carried on in the Great War 1914-1918"

The soldier statue was created by Emmanuel Hahn. On the back of the cenotaph is important battle of the war including the Somme, Passchendaele, Mons and Cambrai.
