There are two bronze tambours at the monumental door that are topped with griffons, mythic beasts of long past ages, that support the bank’s monogram. The doors are framed in Levanto marble, and have bronze decorative motifs that represent Canadian and British coins. The doors are topped by the United Kingdom’s coat of arms which at the time of construction was also used by Canada.
