Many buildings along Main Street in historic Deerfield, MA are restored to there appearance during the Colonial Era. The Sheldon House was occupied by three generations of Sheldon family members and survived the devastating attack on Deerfield in 1704. In 1848 the house was demolished and reproduced in 1929.

A millstone placed in front of the house is inscribed with the history of the house.
