Obtain a bird list and trail map at the entrance kiosk after paying the iron ranger. Raptors, bluebirds, and turkeys can often be seen along the powerline road. Wood storks, limpkins, and other wading brids are often seen at Jim Creek. The St. Johns River marsh is a good place for rails, ducks, gallinules, and other waterfowl.
Managing Agency: Currently owned by the Florida Park Service and managed for hunting by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Ownership of this site will soon be transferred from the park service to FWC.
