The historic "Old Town" section of Folsom, California centers around Sutter Street, where gold prospectors took their finds to a Wells Fargo Assay office on that street. In 2010 the City of Folsom renovated the streets in the area and included these custom manhole covers as part of the make-over.
The many manhole covers and utility gratings contain the same logo along Sutter Street. The one shown in the photos is on Sutter Street just south-west of Decatur Street in Old Town Folsom.
