Chumphon is capital of the southern Thai province of Chumphon, little visited by tourists, other than as a transit point to nearby the touristy islands in the Andaman Sea. The leading cafe of the city, as far as I could see, is this, "Relax Coffee Food & Drink". It is located near the city centre, near to several hotels.
The cafe offers good coffee, a range of sweet pastries, and a pleasant place to sit while enjoying both. Inexpensive and appealing. Recommended, if you happen to find yourself in southern Thailand.
