This magnificent bronze of Joan of Arc is by Anna Hyatt Huntington, one of America's foremost Animaliers. This piece shows her on horseback, triumphantly raising her sword to the heavens

The statue is on the front lawn of San Francisco's great art museum, the Palace of the Legion of Honor in the parklands of the Presidio. To reach the museum, take Geary St to 34th and travel North on 34th into Lincoln Park.
