Au fil des ans, le premier cimetière de Lac-Etchemin ne permettait plus aucune extension. En 1961, une parcelle de terrain a été acquise afin d'y faire un second cimetière. Aujourd'hui, il compte au-delà de 200 tombes.
Over the years, the first cemetery in Lac-Etchemin no longer allowed any extension. In 1961, a parcel of land was acquired at in order to make a second cemetery. Today, it has over 200 graves.
