Description: Élu député de l'Action libérale nationale dans Dorchester en 1935. Réélu député de l'Union nationale en 1936, en 1939, en 1944, en 1948, en 1952, en 1956 et en 1960. Organisateur en chef de l'Union nationale à compter de 1940. Fut l'un des whips de son parti de 1940 à 1943. Ministre de la Colonisation du 30 août 1944 au 5 juillet 1960 dans les cabinets Duplessis, Sauvé et Barrette. Démissionna comme organisateur de l'Union nationale le 1er décembre 1960. Annonça sa retraite politique le 23 septembre 1962. Il est décédé en 1977 à l'âge de 76 ans.
Deputy of the National Liberal Action in Dorchester in 1935. Elected deputy of the National Union in 1936, 1939, 1944, 1948, 1952, 1956 and 1960. Chief organizer of the National Union from 1940. Was one of the whips his party from 1940 to 1943. Minister of Colonization 30 August 1944 to 5 July 1960 in the offices Duplessis, Sauvé and Barrette. Resigned as organizer National Union on 1 December 1960. Announced his retirement from politics September 23, 1962. He died in 1977 at the age of 76.
