The siren is located on the roof of the downtown Fire Station in Lockhart, TX. I am told that the siren is still operational and most frequently used for tornado warnings. When you grab the siren waymark, take a few moments to walk around the square (1 block north)and grab some of the best BBQ in Texas over at Black's. Being the seat of Caldwell County, Lockhart has a beautiful courthouse.
