This centennial bench is located near a lovely rock waterfall at Oklahoma State Fair Park. The waterfall is also a commemoration of Oklahoma's becoming the 47th State in 1907.
Thousands of these centennial benches are located throughout the State. You will see them in towns of all sizes - in parks, in front of city buildings, and anywhere that people will congregate.
This is a metal slatted bench, painted green. The Centennial seal, with circular wording "Oklahoma Centennial '07" and three stars appears on the back of the bench. This particular bench has a plaque indicating that it was donated by Jeannette and Richard Sias.
