The Allentown National Bank building later known as the Meridian Bank was in 1905. The eight-story building was designed by the local architectural firm of Jacoby, Weishampel, and Biggins in a Beaux-Arts style. The building is a steel frame building with a masonry exterior. The building served as a bank building for much of its history with a few periods vacancy and periods other uses. After being vacant in the 1990s for several years the building has now been renovated and converted to a senior living facility.
The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
