Catford Bridge Station is one of two mainline stations that serve Catford. The other being Catford Station that lies just 90 metres to the west. At this point the tracks through both stations run parallel to each other.

In 1857 the Mid Kent railway line was built, with this station at Catford Bridge. The station has been in use throughout. Unlike its neighbouring station this one has the ticket office and platforms at street level.
