In Easton, along Foundry Street, is the New Pond dam, which has a spillway a little west of center that features a staff gauge in the spillway.
New Pond Dam is located almost a mile west of the intersection of Foundry Street, Bay Road, and Depot Street. There is a parking area on the west side of the dam. From there, you can walk along the wide top of the dam embankment.
The staff is on the east wall of the spillway, near the corner. At the time of the visit, it was actually out of the water, so it seems that it is only used during high water situations.
