I don't think London has got into this Love Padlock thing yet but one or two people are trying to make it happen on the Millennium Bridge.

The Millennium Bridge opened for the millennium and was almost immediately closed down - because it wobbled when people walked over it. The 'wobble' was fixed and the Millennium Bridge now takes pedestrians from St Paul's to the Tate Modern on the north and south side of the River Thames, respectively.
The padlocks that are currently here are attached to the wires that form a part of the bridge's structure and vary from being small to medium sized. Some have the names of the lovers' engraved whilst others have just used an indelible ink pen. The engraved ones are better in my opinion.
There's still a long way to go before people will be struggling to find a space for their love padlock.
