Ponderosa State Park covers 1,000-acres of the peninsula that sticks out into Payette Lake near McCall, Idaho.The park has a lot to offer in the way of camping, hiking, biking trails, guided walks, evening campfire program, rent canoes or kayaks, enjoy the beaches and picnic area's. A lot of wild life ranging from canada geese, osprey, bald eagles, wood ducks, mallards, songbirds, deer, moose, beaver, muskrats and even bears. There are even winter activies that can be had here, like Nodic skiing and snowshoeing. There are also cabins that can be rented for your stay here.
Osprey Point is a must see. The view of tha lake from here is specatular.
