Two concrete benches are in this small brick-lined courtyard at Rose State College. They are in the central mall area just east of the campus tower. Each bench has for its side supports a swirly carving of a squirrel, hunched over, eating a nut he is holding between his front paws. A small pile of nuts sits at his feet. The squirrel carving takes up most of the width of the bench, and is most evident from the front view.
