Some people collected money to donate this fountain as a memorial for Karl Steuer. They collected 70,000 Deutsche Mark within 2 years.
The fountain was created by the artist Kurt E. Grabert in 1998.
It exists of bronze.
On top of the 3-meter height pedestal is a figure that represents Karl Steuer.
Karl Steuer was born in 1909 and died in 1969.
