There are two adjacent signs located at the end of the interpretive trail on the west side of Lemhi Pass. Across the top of the signs are the two panels of this Orientation Table describing the view to the south and west.

Location / Access:
At 7,373 feet, Lemhi Pass was the highest point on the westward route of the Lewis & Clark Expedition in 1805. The pass marked the point where the Expedition left the headwaters of the Missouri and entered the Columbia River Basin.
